Hello once again, everyone! Thank you for being patient and dealing with my incredibly sporadic updates. I promised to post, and yet have fallen down almost immediately.
Sadly, I don't come bearing good new for the projects mentioned here. Given the fact that I have started my first semester of college, I will be unable to work seriously on my main projects until I can begin to sort through my schedule. Hopefully, with time, I will be able to set time aside to continue slow developmental progress, but for now both CyRedCh and Everyday Robots will be on temporary hiatus.
I shan't be idle, of course. Most of my college courses are either art- and animation-based, so my hands will remain busy. Most of them are sketches, but I've had a great deal of fun with these:
 |
| An interpretation of H.G. Wells' Martian from 'War of the Worlds." This creature was described as "about the size of a bear...with gray oily skin...V-shaped mouths...[and] large, dark eyes." I'll be sure to flesh this out into a full drawing, due to my own interest and curiosity |
 |
| Work on a robotic design I've been kicking around, primarily for a future story/interactive experience for future development. Considering the lack of facial features, the character's body language needs to be exaggerated to compensate. |
 |
| Some more realistic drawings from a figure drawing class. These are far rougher than I would like, but considering the anemic one minute time limit forced me to focus on the energy and basic features as opposed to using heavy details. |
I also plan on learning to code with and use GameMaker, a tool for simplified video game development. I have a few ideas kicking around that could make use of technology, and should time become available, I may even add it to the roster of projects in development. Keep an eye out!
Thank you once again for sticking around. The main projects will be on hiatus, but stick around for more art and ideas. See you soon!
